October 25, 2008

The Script starts a third week at No. 1 with “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” but has found a new competitor with The Ting Tings and their hit “Shut Up and Let Me Go.” ‘Go’ peaks at No. 2 this week eclipsing David Archuleta’s “Crush,” which is down at No. 3. Meanwhile, Artists Stand Up To Cancer’s “Just Stand Up” and Secondhand Serenade’s “Fall for You” peaks at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively.

As a tip here yesterday, there are three OPM songs in the top this week leaded by Sponge Cola’s “Puso” which explodes 11-6. Bamboo’s “Kailan” moves 14-7 as Demi Lovato’s “This Is Me” feat Joe Jonas holds at No. 8. Chris Brown’s “Superhuman” featuring Keri Hilson, a former chart-topper, sinks to No. 9. Bugoy Drilon’s “Paano Na Kaya” completes the three OPM songs in the top ten peaking at No. 10.

Rihanna scores her fifth and sixth top fifty hit with “Rehab” at No. 35 and “Live Your Life” at No. 37. “Rehab” is this week’s top gainer. Meanwhile, Paramore scores fourth Hot 100 entry and third top fifty hit with “Decode,” a single from the official soundtrack of the movie Twilight. The single opens at No. 43 as this week’s Hot Shot Debut.
