Ne-Yo Fends Off Britney Atop Philippines Hot 100

 Ne-Yo maintains its lead against Pop Princess Britney Spears. “Mad”, now on its third consecutive week at No. 1, barely fended off “Circus” this week. The title track from Spears’ new album peaks at No. 2, giving Spears her second song to peak inside the top two.

 

Paramore’s “Decode” slips 2-3, while Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” rises 5-4. David Archuleta scores second top five hit with “A Little Too Not Over You.” The second single from Archuleta’s self-titled debut album climbs 9-5.

 

Mariah Carey holds at No.6 with “I Stay in Love,” while Shontelle advances to No. 7 with “T-Shirt.” The Pussycat Dolls’ “I Hate This Part” sinks 4-8, as The Fray’s “You Found Me” peaks at No. 9. Beyonce’s former chart-topper “If I Were a Boy” drops 7-10, completing the top tier.

 

Sponge Cola’s “Di Na Mababawi” breaks in to the top fifty this week giving the OPM band their fourth top fifty hit. The song vaults 89-29 as this week’s top gainer.

 

This week’s top debut belongs to Jennifer Hudson’s “If This Isn’t Love,” opening at No. 66. New entries this week includes; Beyonce’s “Halo” at No. 69, Pupil’s “Teacher’s Pet” at No. 82 and The Pussycat Dolls’ “Bottle Pop,” featuring Snoop Dogg, at No. 92.

 

Also new this week is, The Game’s “Camera Phone” featuring Ne-Yo. The single that opens at No. 88 gives Ne-Yo his tenth Hot 100 entry, the most from any artist. Also scoring her tenth Hot 100 entry this week is Rihanna. The leaked song titled “Bad Girl” debuts at No. 97. The song also features singer Chris Brown. This is Brown ninth Hot 100 entry.

 

For the second time in a row, Justin Timberlake scores a Hot 100 entry with a leaked track. After the top fifty hit “Magic,” “If I”, featuring T.I., opens at No. 85.
