'Boy' is No. 1 for Third Consecutive Week!

Beyonce’s “If I Were a Boy” holds on to the top spot this week, keeping its lead to Paramore and Britney Spears. Paramore’s “Decode” and Spear’s “Womanizer” trade places at No. 2 and No. 3, as Ne-Yo’s “Mad” and The Pussycat Dolls’ “I Hate This Part” rise to No. 4 and No. 5. This is PCD’s first appearance in the top five.

Rico Blanco’s “Your Universe” ascends to No. 6.  David Archuleta’s “Crush” drops to No. 7, but the American Idol runner-up breaks the record for the longest stay inside the top ten, besting the records by Mariah Carey, Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown. Meanwhile, Lil’ Wayne, Bobby Valentino and Kidd Kidd make their first appearance in the top ten, as their collaboration “Mrs. Officer” rises 11-8 this week. ‘Officer’ is, so far, the highest peaking single from The Carter III.

The girls from Artists Stand Up to Cancer are non-movers at No. 9 with “Just Stand Up.” Bamboo completes the top tier with “Kailan.”

Spears’ new single “Circus” is this week’s top gainer, rising 96-28. This is the third highest jump in the top fifty, only behind Sandwich’s “Procrastinator” and Blake Lewis’ “How Many Words.”

The Script scores their second Hot 100 entry this week, as “Breakeven” opens at No. 42 and is this week’s top debut.
