Chris Brown Topples Coldplay On Phil Hot 100

  Chris Brown’s “Superhuman” puts an end to the four-week run at No. 1 by Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” on the Philippines Hot 100, rising 5-1. The song that also features Keri Hilson is Brown’s second chart-topper here, tying him with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Mariah Carey and Rihanna for the most of any artist.

 

Rihanna’s “Disturbia” holds at No. 2, followed by  Miley Cyrus’ “7 Things”, which jumps from No. 9 to No. 3. “Viva La Vida” slides to No. 4, while Sarah Geronimo’s “A Very Special Love” slips 4-5.

 

American Idol 7 runner-up scores first top ten hit with his debut single. “Crush” advances from No. 11 to No. 6, while Ne-Yo scores his fourth top ten with “Miss Independent”, which sits at No. 7.

 

Parokya Ni Edgar’s “Akala” advances from No. 10 to No. 8, while Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl” drops 3-9.

 

Pussycat Dolls’ “When I Grow Up” completes the top ten list.

 

New Kids On The Block’s “Single” is this week’s top gainer. The single which also features Ne-Yo rises 75-31, giving Ne-Yo his fifth top 50 hit.

 

The chart’s top debut comes from KC Concepcion with “For The First Time.” The song starts at No. 62. Also new is KC’s biological father Gabby Concepcion with “Iisa Pa Lamang” at No. 85.
