Rihanna Heats Up New Records This Week

'Umbrella Singer' Rihanna scores a record-setting debuts this week as two titles enter the Hot 100. The onslaught is led by a No. 79 Hot 100 start of "Live Your Life," a single by T.I. which also features her vocals. The other song to debut this week is Rihanna's very own single "Rehab," which opens at No. 100, her weakest opening on the chart. With two songs to debut this week, Rihanna sets a record for the most number of simultaneous Hot 100 debut. She currently shares the record with Akon, Lil' Wayne and Sam Milby.

The debuts give Rihanna a total of five entries this week, including "Take a Bow" at No. 90, "Disturbia" at No. 18 and "Just Stand Up" at No. 6.

Rihanna's takeover on the Hot 100 shatters mark for most number of simultaneous entries set by Sean Kingston and Ne-Yo in the February 2, 2008 and August 30, 2008 charts respectively, when each artist placed four simultaneous entries.

In total, Rihanna has already placed eight songs on the Hot 100. These set two new more records for her. First, is a record for the most number of Hot entries of any artist. She is currently in tie with Akon, who scores his eight Hot 100 entry this week with "Right Now (Na Na Na)." Second, is a record for the most Hot 100 entry from an album, as six of her eight songs were taken from her Good Girl Gone Bad album. The debut of "Rehab" breaks the tie of 'Bad' with Kyla's Heartfelt album and a various artist albu,. Kami nAPO Muna Ulit.
