'Moved' is No. 1 for Fourth Consecutive Week

Week Ending: November 1, 2008

The Script’s “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” begins a fourth week at No. 1 on the Philippines Hot 100 and is now inline with Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love”, Mariah Carey’s “Bye Bye” and Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” for the second longest stay at No. 1.

But there’s still some strong competition from David Archuleta’s “Crush” which returns at No. 2 and The Ting Tings’ “Shut Up and Let Me Go” which slips to No. 3. Artists Stand Up To Cancer’s “Just Stand Up” holds at No. 4, while Bamboo’s “Kailan” peaks at No. 5. Secondhand Serenade’s “Fall For You” and Sponge Cola’s “Puso” drops to No. 6 and No. 7, respectively.

Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” continues its ascent on the Hot 100 jumping 13-8, as Bugoy Drilon’s “Paano Na Kaya” advances to No. 9. Demi Lovato’s “This Is Me” feat. Joe Jonas completes the top tier.

After debuting at No. 43 last week, Paramore scores third top twenty hit as “Decode” explodes to No. 19. Also scoring another top twenty hits this week are Nicole Scherzinger and Sarah Geronimo. Scherzinger’s “Happiliy Never After” moves 24-15, giving the ‘Doll’ her fist solo top twenty, meanwhile Geronimo’s “I’ll Be There” feat. Howie D. ascends 21-17, giving the ‘Popstar Princess’ her third top twenty hit, and the fisrt for her new album Just Me.

Kanye West scores first top fifty hit with “Love Lockdown.” The single zooms 52-33 and is the fastest growing single this week.

Beyonce’s new song “If I Were A Boy,” a single from her upcoming album I Am… Sasha Fierce, is this weeks top debut opening at No. 37.

Two weeks ago, Rihanna set the record for the most number of simultaneous entries on the Hot 100 after putting five titles on the chart. This week, Rihanna adds one more song. “Cry,” which opens at No. 70, is her sixth entry this week.
