After his smash No. 2 hit “Crush”,which spent five non-consecutives weeks at No. 2 without reaching number-one, David Archuleta has finally topped the Philippines Hot 100 with his second-single “A Little Too Not Over You.”

‘Little’ inches 2-1, making the American Idol Alum the youngest artist to top the Hot 100. The take-over is due to the increasing airplay in the rural stations and the huge airplays in the urban stations.

Back on the Hot 100, aside from Archuleta, Taylor Swift also knocks the chart down this week as “Love Story,” the lead single from her 2008 album Fearless, rises 5-2. Both young singers eclipse Beyonce in this week’s chart. After topping the charts last week, Beyonce’s “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” drops 1-3.

Britney Spears’ “Circus” holds at No. 4, as Ne-Yo’s “Mad” keeps dropping 3-5.

The Fray’s “You Found Me” is No. 6 for a third week. Meanwhile, Kelly Clarkson’s “My Life Would Suck Without You” advances 13-7. This is the first top ten appearance of the American Idol Season 1 Winner.

Mariah Carey’s “I Stay in Love” is a non-mover at no. 8, as Sponge Cola’s “Di Na Mababawi” vaults 15-9. Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” rounds-off the top tier.

Sarah Geronimo scores fourth top 20 hit with “You Changed My Life in a Moment,” the theme song of her upcoming movie with actor John Lloyd Cruz. ‘Changed’ explodes 78-16 as this week’s top gainer.

Jesse McCartney’s “How Do You Sleep” is this week top debut. The cut from his 2008 album Departure opens at No. 84. Also new on the Hot 100 this week are Spears’ “If You Seek Amy” at No. 85, Metro Stations’ “True to Me” at No. 87, Plain White T’s’ “1,2,3,4” at No. 88, Eminem’s “Crack a Bottle” featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent at No. 96, and Moymoy Palaboy’s “Lumayo ka man sa Laklak” at No. 99.
